Jackie Willett

Jackie Willett, CHBME is President and CEO of TERM Billing, Inc. which she founded in 1992. TERM Billing, Inc. is located in Mansfield, Texas and employs over one hundred individuals. TERM Billing, Inc, specializes in coding/billing/collections as well as practice management for hospital based physicians primarily emergency department physician groups.

Jackie began working in the healthcare industry while attending Midwestern State University in the early 80's. Active in State and National Medical and billing organizations, she is no stranger to those in the emergency department arena. She is actively involved in Healthcare Billing and Management Association, (HBMA) serving on the Board of Directors as well as the Executive Committee and the Past Chair of HBMA's Southwest Region. Jackie was instrumental in working with the OIG in finalizing the Compliance Program for third party billing companies in 1998. She has been given the J. Dennis Mock award as well as the President’s award. These awards represent a person who is dedicated to the industry as well as to the association and membership. Jackie has received numerous recognitions and rewards for her service to the industry. Jackie also has served on the Board of Emergency Department Practice Management Association, (EDPMA) and is actively involved in American College of Emergency Physicians, (ACEP) as well as Texas College of Emergency Physicians, (TCEP) and numerous other organizations. Jackie is a regular speaker for several organizations and has been asked to serve on the faculty for the Compliance Course for Third Party Medical Billing Companies for the last five years.

Susan Potter
Vice President

Susan Potter, CHBME is the Vice President of TERM Billing She is responsible for Physician, hospital and client relations, acting as a liaison to ensure proper communications and problem resolution. She handles the day-to-day operations and management of all departments as well as developing and implementing the policies and procedures, standardizing workflow, and developing management tools as needed. Susan joined TERM Billing, Inc in 1999 after 10 years in the healthcare industry. She is a member of the Healthcare Billing and Management Association (HBMA)

Nate Willett
Chief Corporate Compliance Officer

As Chief Corporate Compliance Officer of TERM Billing, Nate is responsible for overseeing that everyone is trained and kept up to date on privacy and security, HIPAA regulations, policies and procedures and all laws and regulations that pertain to third party billing companies. One of his job duties is to train new employees on the Standards of Conduct set forth by TERM as stated in their Compliance Plan. Nate also coordinates inside monitoring reports of every employee of each department.

Nate received his Bachelor of Science degree in education from Texas Wesleyan College. He is a member of HBMA. Nate is also involved in his local Police Department and has attended their MCPAAA classes to educate himself in law enforcement or something to the fact.

Gabriela Zamora
Human Resources/Office Manager

Gabby, as the Human Resources/Office Manager at TERM Billing, Inc., is responsible for compliance with all state and federal HR policies as well as handling the central functions of the organization from employment, benefits, employee relations, orientation, payroll, safety training, performance management and strategic planning to ensure TERM’s staff is compliant with all related issues. Gabby aims to provide a safe and productive work environment for TERM’s employees. Gabby is also responsible for all purchase, leasing and accounting within the company.

Gabby began her Healthcare career with TERM Billing, Inc. in 2002, working within different departments throughout the company before taking on her current Management position. Gabby is a national member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM).

Emily Chapman
Physician and Information Manager

Emily Chapman has been working at TERM Billing since 2002. Her responsibilities as the Physician and Information Services Department Manager, includes end of month reporting, electronic billing, credentialing and electronic filing. Emily also oversees the changes and advancements in TERM's proprietary software, TERMWare.

Emily received her Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Hardin Simmons University in 2002 and received a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2006.

Nancy Clark
Coding Manager

Nancy has worked in the medical field for over 20 years specializing in Emergency, Radiology and Interventional Radiology physician coding, documentation and compliance. Nancy has been a member of the TERM team since 2004 working within the Coding and Research departments before taking on her current Management position. Nancy is a Certified Professional Coder thru the American Academy of Professional Coders. As Coding Manager, Nancy is responsible for managing the coding work flow which includes online chart and paper chart coding, creating and implementing necessary policies and procedures and auditing to ensure coding accuracy and compliance with all state and federal regulations. She is responsible for educating coders and new physicians with updates and trends.

Michelle Gocken
Information Distribution Services Department Manager

Michelle has been with TERM Billing since 1998 with a total of 17 years experience in the industry. The responsibilities of the IDS department which she manages includes answering incoming phone calls, process all incoming and outgoing mail, as well as processing the cycle of incoming and outgoing charts. Michelle also generates all of the collection accounts and transmits them to the collection agency. She processes the letters of concerns that are received from the patients and she processes the Undocumented Alien accounts. In addition, Michelle manages TERM's phone system and personally receives all the accelerated phone calls from patients.

Alan Gordon
Network Administrator
Alan has been with TERM Billing, Inc. since 1999. He has seven years of experience in the IT field and an extensive knowledge and training in Microsoft Windows network. As the Network Administrator his responsibilities are to maintain the internal and external networks of the company and assure stability to sustain productive workflow. His goals are to accomplish all tasks while ensuring TERM Billing, Inc. is HIPAA compliant and meets security standards. Alan is the support and manager of an IT department that is ever changing and constantly growing. As a manager he organizes and oversees all projects pertaining to the network and is directly involved with projects related to the phone system.

Lauren Gregory
Director of Operations

Lauren Gregory is the Managed Care Manager for TERM Billing, Inc. Lauren began working for TERM Billing, Inc. in 1999. As Managed Care Manager, Lauren oversees all managed care contracts and contract issues. Lauren’s duties consist of working as a liaison between TERM Billing, Inc.’s clients and the insurance payers as well as negotiating contracts with a commercial/government payer, creating financial data if a client chooses to become participating with a payer, reviewing managed care contracts, handling class action settlements, overseeing day-to-day operations of the managed care team, and staying up-to-date on any legislative changes or updates to healthcare industry.

Additionally, as of August 2007, Lauren became Chair of TERM Billing, Inc.’s Disaster Recovery Committee.

Peggy Gunning
Client QA Manager

Peggy has worked in the medical field for over 20 years. Specializing in physician coding, compliance and documentation education, Peggy has been a member of the TERM Billing, Inc. team since 1995. As a Certified Professional Coder through the American Academy of Professional Coders, her primary focus has been educating coders and physicians on the importance of proper documentation for compliance with government regulations and optimal reimbursement.

As Manager of the Coding Department, Peggy is a liaison with physician groups for coding inquiries and procedures. She is responsible for educating coders, physicians and staff on billing compliance with government regulations, coding trends and updates. Peggy performs chart audits to monitor for accuracy and compliance, and she also participates as an active member of the national AAPC.

Laurie Harrison
Reimbursement Manager

Laurie Harrison joined the TERM Billing, Inc. team in 1998. As the Reimbursement Manager she is responsible for managing the payment processing, adjustments, tracking of denials, processing of refunds, balancing, and invoicing for multiple Clients. She monitors the departments day-to-day work flow, established policies and procedures, and audits to ensure accuracy for compliance.

Della Johnson
Data Entry Manager

Della Johnson has been with TERM Billing since January 6, 1997. She has been employed in the medical field for 30 years. She is responsible for managing the timely and accurate input of patient accounts from paper and scanned charts. She handles day-to-day operations in the department, which includes developing efficient departmental policies and procedures, maintaining a productive workflow, communication between departments, and establishing new methods of operation. Della is responsible for effective training, feedback and auditing of her employees.
